Hey there! Bryan here. This is my about section, so I won't get into much corpo stuff or be way too formal. That's boring!
But okay, fine, here's a snapshot:
- 8 years of experience (writing, SEO, content strategy)
- Worked with clients and agencies from the US, EMEA, and UK (some local too)
- Industries: B2B, SaaS, Ecommerce, Crypto, Health, Travel, Real Estate, Gaming, General News, Investing (a bit). Honestly, I can work with almost any industry or vertical, just give me enough time to research.
- Knows SEO
- Deep into AI: agents, automation, prompt engineering, building scalable systems
- I also do web dev on the side, hence this portfolio
Anyway, if you're still not convinced, you can check out my work here. As cliche as it may sound, they do speak for themselves. But if you're here to learn about the true me, then proceed.
Alright, let's start again. You can call me Bry. I'm from the beautiful coastal city of Legazpi, Philippines, born and raised.
I have been writing stuff for almost 8 years. I guess you can call me a veteran by now, but that's cringe, and even I, to myself, know that I still have a lot to learn. A ton of SEO, dev, and of course refining the way I write. Like most people, I treat learning as a never-ending cycle. Emphasis on cycle, because you never truly stop learning something you are genuinely interested in and passionate about. Wait, I think I'm getting philosophical, but you get the point, right?
So right now, I'm learning web dev with the help of AI tools while also sharpening my writing chops. One thing I really want to improve is my own style. Like, when you read something and you know me, you'll go "Oh, Bry wrote this!"
With the emerging capabilities of AI and its ability to regurgitate words and sentences better than us humans (disclaimer: with proper guidance and insane hand holding), I am on a self-mission to develop a tone and style that no robot can easily replicate.
I'll admit, I'm a big fan of AI. I use it all the time! But I feel like we're in a creative crisis. Most people are ditching their brain's ability to think and formulate coherent thoughts and just delegating everything to AI. They are reaching actual levels of stupidity. AI should be a tool, and I'm telling you, when used right, even in writing, it can elevate an output to greater heights.
I mentioned that I've also been getting into web development, and I genuinely enjoy it. I've made a couple of tools, like scrapers and custom ones built for my own use, but I also have a ton of ideas I want to build out. It's really fun, and honestly that fun meter sits higher for web dev than it does for writing right now. I still love writing too, but maybe I've just been doing it so long that the thrill of making something appear from nothing keeps hitting different every time.
Aside from all that, at some point in my life, I want to pursue teaching. That will be the final chapter of my pursuit of learning and acquiring knowledge: sharing it with people, hopefully those with the same drive and passion as me. If I can, I want to be a professor. It has always been my greatest dream.
So, TLDR: Writer, SEO guy, AI nerd, and part-time web dev who just wants to keep learning things and eventually teach them to someone who actually cares.
